Why we built it

Support queues grow at exactly the wrong times. A customer asks a question at 11:47 pm and gets an auto-reply. They explain their problem twice, to two different people, because the context didn’t travel. They send a photo of the thing that’s broken, and nobody can read it until morning. None of this is anyone’s fault — it’s just what happens when every answer needs a human, and humans need sleep.

We built Unhold so the answering happens instantly and the humans get saved for the moments that actually need them.

What Unhold is

Unhold is AI customer support you install with one line of code. It reads your own documents — PDFs, manuals, FAQs, screenshots, voice notes — and answers your customers in their language, around the clock. When it isn’t sure, a human on your team gets the whole conversation in under three seconds, with the AI’s reasoning attached. And every chat quietly becomes signal: who’s ready to buy, who’s frustrated, what your documentation forgot to cover.

It runs hosted by us, or entirely inside your own infrastructure — self-hosted, with zero data egress.

  • Answers come from your documents. Not from the model’s imagination — and you can see and edit every fact it learned.
  • A human is never far. Handoff is a feature, not a failure state. Under three seconds, full context.
  • Your data stays yours. We don’t train on it, we don’t sell it, and if you self-host we never even see it.
  • Every language is a first-class language. Your customer’s home language is the one the agent answers in.

Unhold is a product of Broadifi Tech Private Limited, the Kolkata software company behind Broadifi Technologies. Since 2021 the team has been building AI, SaaS, and cloud products for clients around the world — Unhold is that experience turned into a product of our own. We’re a small team that ships quickly, reads every customer conversation, and answers our own support chats (with Unhold, naturally).
